The journey has been long, the journey has been hard, but the journey has also been rewarding! Our EPIC 2.0 heroes have crossed the Forest of Fear and survived the challenging conditions of the Desert of Despair. With a short break in the Village of Hope, the teams are now in the middle of crossing the Valley of Death. So far, there have been some losses, missed targets, undelivered promises… But there have also been bonding moments, great successes and innovative ideas! With only a last week to go until reaching the City of Dreams at the foot of Mount EPIC, our heroes have to push harder and not lose sight of the promise of the promised land!! They are so close, now is NOT a time to give up. Because real heroes make it to the end :)
As a preparation for the climb of Mont EPIC, the teams will have to prepare a 4-minute presentation followed by 4-min Q&A.
On the day of the EPIC Champions Local Tournament on Day 3, everyone gets to vote: the participants, the mentors, a representative from INTI and the one Leadapreneur team member. Teams will be judged on the following criteria:
And finally - a small cartoon to get our teams all the way to The City of Dreams!!! YES WE CAN!! ![]() Any questions? Then get in touch with our awesome EPIC's Community Manager: Bettina Guirkinger Commuity Manager Bettina@Leadapreneur.com 017 396 9540

After crossing the Forest of Fear and taking a short rest in the Village of Hope, the EPIC teams have had to come to terms with those they had lost along the way and gather strength as they step into the next week of their EPIC adventure: crossing the Desert of Despair. Our adventurers have shown amazing courage and determination as they achieved their first week goals: meeting with their mentors, raising funds, organising activities, posting pictures of their progress on the exclusive EPIC Champions Group and filling a weekly report. They often struggled with communication with their own team-mates, sometimes losing sight of them in the dark forest. They learned to be patient with each other and clear about their expectations. At their feet now lies the Desert of Despair, where our heroes will have to choose between staying in their comfort zone or grabbing their courage with two hands to keep pushing for greater results. Survival tip #1: SPEAK UP - make sure you communicate to your team members what you are working on and ask for help/input where needed. Survival tip #2: TEAM BONDING - making sure everyone is committed is crucial at this point. It’s important to get things done but it is just as important to have fun together. Why not try a fun team activity? For example, today the Leadapreneur team went to rock climbing altogether at Mad Monkey, and it was super fun! :) Survival tip #3: ORGANISE YOURSELF AND YOUR TEAM - When there are so many things to do it’s useful to identify what is actually important and urgent and what is not. To help you out, use this tool to classify your tasks. We hope this encouraging post and the above tips will get you to the Tower of Possibility!! ARE YOU READY???
“The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step” said philosopher and poet of ancient China, Lao Tzu. This week has all been about taking that very first step into the adventurous path ignited at the EPIC Champions 2.0 weekend where all the participants went through a journey of self-discovery, identifying their limiting beliefs and the fire that moves them and consolidate it into an innovative project. Along with their teams, put together during the first day of EPIC 2.0, they created a team identity, gathering around areas of common interest and choosing the name that would define them as a group. Their team shout resonated through the walls of INTI and it was a true delight for the trainers and facilitators to see them joining brain-power over their innovation challenge. From team-creation to brainstorming to meeting the mentors, the EPIC participants have shown dedication and commitment to create something new and step out of their comfort zone. As for the partners, they had the opportunity to meet the different teams during the second day, hearing about each group’s ideas and action steps. So what happens now?
The teams will show what they are made of during this first week as they go through the initial stage of their journey: the Forest of Fear. Here they will let go of their fear of failing and of their limiting beliefs in order to make it to the Village of Hope. Survival tip #1: we encourage the participants to agree on a weekly meeting to make sure everyone knows what they have to do, what goals have to be reached by the end of week 1 and keep the motivation strong. Survival tip #2: create a team Whatsapp group to keep track of what the team members are doing and making it easier for the team leader to keep an overview. Survival tip #3: make sure to post your progress with photos and videos on the EPIC Champions Facebook group (exclusive to EPIC participants). This way your team will earn points and will show the other teams the progress you are making and challenge them to keep up with you! Awaken the champion within you and don’t be intimidated by the Forest of Fear! Let go of your “comfort-zone” version of you and endorse the costume of the adventurer you carry inside! Best of luck.
